Pricing the unpriced!
Request from someone, who kills for free!
I love free accepted suggestions!
Sale 1: http://backpack.tf/profiles/76561198258728302#!/compare/1492300800/1492387200 - 270 keys
270 flat.
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/28881503 buyer there has been reselling for 199 since he got it 3 weeks ago
Does the fact that its unpriced matter at all? If not, resuggest at 200 flat?
In this case I would likely leave it unpriced and wait for it to resell. The sale itself may have simply been an outlier
Probably best to leave this up, as help for that guy?
I don't see a point in that really. If anything, its false advertising as it will never really be priced at 270, meaning it would mislead any potential buyer.
Cant be false advertising, as it did sell for 270, sale isnt made up.
What I mean by that is that there is no point in having an open suggestion when 270 flat is definitely not going to happen. People may see it and buy it, expecting it to be priced at 270 when it will not. In my eyes it should not even end up in the range. It took nearly a year to sell and even the buyer from this sale didnt value it at 270 as is evident by his reselling value.
The point of suggestions is not only to be a convenience for a seller; it is to provide an insight in what would be a realistic value to buy/sell hats at. 270 is obviously not right here
If we go by what you said, people will see this suggestion, offer 270 and boom, 2 sales at 270. I do however get what you mean, since the original 270 sale is too high and the new 270 sale would be influenced by this suggestion, in the future this hat will be overpriced and get a massive drop anyways. Will 200 work by what polar said, or i should close?
Either option will work here
I'm not opposed to 200 flat tbh. The issue here is really with the value of the conga, which is not worth 270. Capping at the b/o is probably more reasonable for both this and the conga.
