why would we leave this up? does this open suggestion not influence the market in itself? If the proof was little lacking ,ok leave it up and wait .But here we have no proof of a legit sale, all we have is one quicksell at 66 keys.With this logic all hats with quicksells and no sales can have suggestions at that price that i can leave up and "wait " for sales.

If this stays up more than a day or two I'm going to be pretty disappointed in the mods.

Yep, pretty disappointed. Leaving up a suggestion with obvious problems in hopes it forces more sales is bad practice no matter what you think of the current price.

i thought that need to be more than week for any unusual to not count as quikcsell, don't mention unusual worth more than 100 keys not eveyone have that much money to buy virutal items.

Wait so, if it was on marketplace for 6 days and there's no way to verify if it was at $130 the entire 6 days, why would the appropriate response be to leave it up? Am I missing something here?

So, going to take a quick shot at the SCM sale.

It was last seen in the seller's backpack on 11/23 at 4pm, and it was added to the buyer's backpack sometime on 11/23 (based on the snapshot you provided).

That's a really narrow window, assuming Steam and backpack.tf are both reporting times using either user-based time zones or US-based time zones. It really looks like that SCM sale at $204.72 that happened late on 11/24 (the only sale in that time window) was the Screaming Tiger taunt.

Might be a better basis for a price if that could be verified. If it's the next sale about five hours later on 11/25, though, it doesn't help given that it sold almost immediately.

And then people get mad when you offer like 80% off on their taunts based on a 7 month old bp price. This is why!

Or even worse, when people offer you full price taunts for unusuals or KEYS.

and they have the audacity to ask for unusual overpay on the taunt too like excuse me NO

Or even a lot worst, they get mad because you decline their 300% 'overpay' offers.

So what you're saying is, several mods agree it should be lower, so they support leaving up a suggestion that is clearly based on sales that would not otherwise be acceptable.

After reading the thread, I apparently summarized it well.

If there were a lot of quicksells at a price, that would make it justifiable to say it's a common price point.

2 sales helps to set that, but more are necessary, as the Mods said.

2 quicksells in last month out of 18 in existence of which 10 changed hands in the last month.

Personal opinion, people are unboxing a lot now. Unboxers are causing the drop, they dont care to sell it for half the price or even less. Real traders buy the Taunts for cheap -> All taunts go to big backpacks -> (month later) Not that many taunts are unboxed since event is over -> New people demand taunts yet theyre all on traders backpacks -> Taunts go up in price again.

66 keys on a All-Class Unlimited Screaming Tiger taunt. 18 instances about 1200 keys to get them all. Enough people that want it afterwards.

Dropping to 66? Bad idea.

Yea taunts are in a bit of a limbo right now. Supply is heavily exceeding demand so naturally the price point for the quantity supplied is rapidly decreasing and needs time. However that doesn't change the fact suggestions are based on actual sales and this is what they currently go for. They may eventually rise like retired hats do once the unusualifying stuff slows down. People seem to be getting these unusualifiers every other crate; they're so frequently unboxed.

Also I find it a bit hard to get in contact with you specifically Sparta, so I'm just going to take this opportunity to ask how much in unusuals you would take on your Arcana Leadwear you currently have listed on marketplace***?

So 44 is low and ~30 is obviously low as well, this means that 66 is definitely warranted here. However now that we have the crown sale, this'll need a high end. Resuggest once you've mini'd the crown.
