Suggestion: Earbuds at 21 keys

As far as bringing them down to 21 is concerned both will work. If they are not sold at even 21 then they warrant a further price reduction. I do, however, believe that unsold at 21+ might not be enough.

Yes, you're right. But if the suggestion was filled with only sellings at 21 it would be less effective than if it was filled with solds at 21 because 21's already in the range. It'd be great to know how many of those are solds.

Nope, for this suggestion to pass, he only needs to show unsold earbuds beyond 21 keys. 21 keys is already in the range he does not need to prove it again.

I only checked the first like 5 proofs for sellings/sold for 21 keys, First link is a gifted bud, 4th link they arent sold, he closed the trade, 5th trade is inactive and hes the 6th person down in the history. So im guessing the rest of the proof is also invalid.

Conclusion: Most unusual trades are accepting 21 Keys in replace of earbuds ( http://puu.sh/4mEFG.jpg | Originally wanted a bud, but eventually sold for 21 Keys) and why get it for more if you can get it cheaper than 21+? That is why 21 keys is currrently the perfect price for buds at the moment.

Keyword there is "Most"; if you're going to come to that conclusion, I'd come up with more than one trade as proof. I've seen several 2+ bud unusual trade still asking for 1 bud:22 key ratio.

what unusual sellers price their buds has nothing to do with buds prices.

bp.tf prices for unusuals are not linked to buds as currency but usd so whenever buds drop their hats will automatically rise if they worth bud+

and they drop if they worth -bud

The suggestion made by grimdercell is a bit better in my opinion. He proved is still possible to get 21 keys plus 1 - 3 ref in around one day. Too soon for a flat price, plenty buyers (specially on trade servers) willing to buy them for 21 keys.

Easy to get them for 21 keys but easy to sell them for 21 keys as well. I'm not sure if I should call it a quicksell. I'm going to stay neutral for now.

22 keys is still a valid price that people are buying buds. I feel that your evidence only shows the picture of the market that you want to portray and not the reality of the market. You should provide evidence of unsold buds at 22 keys if you want to move the price down. I would only upvote if this evidence was made available, but showing only the 21 key price in the evidence is not enough to change earbuds.

Click your very first link, Just because the price in his trade chat says "22 Keys" does not mean he sold them for that. Not to mention... the person directly above him in the history (Frogspot) had a trade up... the same day http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/14254663 ... selling for 21 Keys. So answer me this. Who buys buds for 22 Keys off person A, only to sell them to person B 10 minutes later for 21 Keys.

Btw Upvoted, the Lowering of Buds. I have bought 3-4 Buds over the last week for 20 Keys, had a hard time reselling them for 21, so just sold them for 20 and 4 Ref.

You can come out and just call me a liar, my feelings won't be hurt :P. I can rebuttal that with picture evidence of my trades of 22 keys. I won't tarnish myself with false information, even if it is on the web.

3 buds for 63 keys and a diamond medi gun (2.2-2.5 keys) Gave him a little discount because of the bulk buy, but still over 21 keys per bud on average. So a total of 5 buds just by me sold in the past 24 hours for more than 21 keys. I am sure I am not an anomaly or anything special to receive more keys than everyone else.

I am really surprised. My trade was open for about 6-7 hrs and I only managed to sell my 11 buds at 21 keys each. I had been bumping them every 30 mins on outpost, bazaar.tf and backpack.tf respectively, even you bought 2-3 earbuds from me. And yet people are fucking foolish enough to pay 22 keys when there are plenty available at 21 keys. I am just disappointed at the foolishness of people.

In reality, many won't look past page 1 or 2 on outpost and do not utilize backpack classifieds. In other circumstances, there are sellers who are offline that cannot sell the buds at 21.

Today I saw your ads on classifieds and bought two buds form you and 1 bud from another trader at 21k. I only did this because I had a bulk buyer and already sold my buds stock yesterday. (This is starting to sound like drugs -ie bud). People will buy buds as long as the prices are reasonable and 22 imo is still reasonable. I need more buds by the way and cannot hold onto them long enough.

Just restocked on buds today and sold another bud for 1 black bills, 1 white bills, 7 keys, and 5 ref = 23 k and 2 ref

Maybe you misread my comment.... I didn't single you out at all. I stated, the first trader who "allegedly" sold his buds for 22 keys, was in fact selling buds of his own the same day for 21 Keys. So I was confused... How that was profitable, and thus regarded the first counterproof as proof towards lowering the key price.

I know, I am fortunate enough to see this suggestion open to report what I see. Too many times these suggestions come under the radar of the people that buy and sell them everyday. I think they see the market activities clearly based on the frequency their items trade and at what prices.

But I agree. If more people are having success at 22 keys on buds, they need to be on here with the proof. One little trader (me) may not be enough to prove market trends.

Because they are morons. There cannot be a more appropriate explanation then this.

The bird speaks the truth. Though it doesn't make sense, people seem to still buy at 21 + x amount of ref even though there are scattered sellers for 21 here and there. I think there are two dominant types of traders - the stubborn misers and the traders that just don't give two shits that they pay more. Laziness.

I believe it is availability. I sell many items above bp.tf value. Yes there are sellers at 1.33 but I often am able to sell my craft hats at 1.66 and 2 refined due to my availability online to sell. I am online more often because of what I do and anybody that wants their hat or even earbuds NOW will pay the higher rate rather than waiting or further searching past pages 1 and 2 of outpost, which can be difficult to navigate with all those earbuds offers etc. That is how the spread is created and how we have 21-22 keys for buds in the first place. That is why from my point of view, I can get 22 keys for buds and changes in bud prices always have a positive affect on my increase in spread profits. So change it, keep it, it is the same to me.

I would do that too, but unfortunately still being pre-18 means that I have to follow rules, etc. etc. and all that, so I can't just stay on the computer 24/7 :| also timezones and all, being Australian. Eh, I guess that answers it, thanks.
